Artist's Comments
I'm kinda nervous about doing this
I know I haven't submitted anything recently but its basically because I've been working on this! So I'm obviously trying something new which is more extreme realism...but it's taking a while (this is still a work in progress by the way I still have to do the entire bg To those who'd like to know the story in this picture...well that's basically just in my head right now and I might talk more about it when I submit the finished piece. This might take a while though, because I can barely do anything now that I've been bombarded by school work!! Anyone else having this problem And also, I've become completely obsessed with historical fashion (thanks to my sister and ~britishbonaparte) And right now I love 18th century rococo So......I was going to add something as well....Argh why do I always forget things to put in the artist's comments?! Many, many references used (my own) but no photo manipulation. It's been so long since I've written the artist's comments...This feels strange! So how have you guys been? ©Anna D. |

And thanks for the critique! I need to see how I can fix that eye! Should I raise it? Or what do you think I should do with it?
And thanks for the compliments!!!!

It is only the white part of the eye that looks a little out of place. I'm not really sure what you should do but moving it up might work.
Will you be able to come to my house on Friday? I was thinking from like 11-3 or something. Idk <----I don't know

P.S. I'm trying to decide between the Graphire 4x5 tablet or the bamboo 5.8x3.7 one, they are about the same price. Also, which color is the best: gray, black or white?
P.P.S. This is how I felt during these past few days
I think comics have a slightly negative reputation in the art world, but it's actually changing. There's been an emergence in recent years of art comics, esp. the underground sort and it's taken a lot more seriously. King Cat comics is one that comes to mind. And the magazine Dangerous Ink also showcases a lot of art comics.
But in whatever way you decide to show it, it's a pretty image.
